据河南省教育厅关于公布2021年度科技成果奖奖励名单的通知（教科技〔2021〕203号）显示，河南省教育厅根据《河南省教育系统优秀科研成果奖励办法》和《关于开展2021年度科技成果奖评选暨河南省科学技术奖提名工作的通知》要求，组织进行了2021年度科技成果奖评审工作。经过学校推荐、省教育厅组织专家评审并公示，评选科技成果奖一等奖131项，科技成果奖二等奖142项；优秀科技论文奖一等奖470篇，优秀科技论文奖二等奖582篇。
我院刘普等老师完成的“油用牡丹综合利用关键技术、产品开发及装备制造”获科技成果一等奖，徐航等老师完成的“高浓度难降解有机废水处理技术”获得科技成果二等奖；刘振老师的“Pretreatment of corn straw using the alkaline solution of ionic liquids”等9篇论文获优秀科技论文奖一等奖，姚开胜老师的“An aqueous synthesis of porous PtPd nanoparticles with reversed bimetallic structures for highly efficient hydrogen generation from ammonia borane hydrolysis”和勾明雷老师的“Improved performance of mesoporous HZSM-5 designed with selective deactivation of external surface acidity in the isomerization of styrene oxide”获优秀科技论文奖二等奖。
